Shonda, Creed, and Empire Lead NAACP Nods

Like a boss, Shonda Rhimes has raked in nine NAACP Image Award Nominations. The NAACP Image Awards, celebrating the accomplishments of people of color in media, literature, and the promotion of social justice, nominated Rhimes for Entertainer of the Year, along with eight other nominations for her shows Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder. Also on the leaderboard isEmpire with six nominations, Black-ish with five, and Creed with six. The NAACP Image Awards will air February 5 on TV One.
