Chris Webber Upset About “Fab Five” Documentary

“I know that the ‘Fab Five’ documentary makes it seem like, ‘Oh, my God, I’m so scared to talk about it,’ ” Webber said of that timeout he tried to call against North Carolina way back when, adding he got over it a long time ago. “I’ve always tried to embrace it.”

Patrick followed up by asking about “Fab Five,” the “30 for 30” film that Jalen Rose got together for ESPN. Webber was noticeably absent from that project.

“I love the guys, but I just think there was so much missed there,” Webber said. “I think it was OK, except … I think it was … it looked like … it looked like, you know, what happens, a lot of people, after they retire or when they’re looking for a job or when they want to be relevant, they go back in time and kind of make sure their importance is really known.”

Deflate Gate: Tom Brady Is Suspended For 4 Games Next Season

In a letter to the Patriots, Vincent suggested that the AFC championship game was not the first time that the Patriots had knowingly deflated footballs, citing undisclosed evidence dating back to before the start of the 2014 season. A separate letter from Vincent to Brady that accompanied the NFL’s announcement chastised the two-time MVP.

“The [Wells] report established that there is substantial and credible evidence to conclude you were at least generally aware of the actions of the Patriots’ employees involved in the deflation of the footballs and that it was unlikely that their actions were done without your knowledge. Moreover, the report documents your failure to cooperate fully and candidly with the investigation, including by refusing to produce any relevant electronic evidence (emails, texts, etc.), despite being offered extraordinary safeguards by the investigators to protect unrelated personal information,” Vincent wrote.

Lakers Preparing A Max Deal Offer For Jimmy Butler

Butler wants to stay in Chicago, and the Bulls want to keep him. Something could go wrong if he were an unrestricted free agent, but because he’s restricted, it’s nearly impossible to see him getting away.

If the Lakers sign him to an offer sheet, they’d almost certainly just be tying up their cap space for a few days until the Bulls match – all while other free agents sign elsewhere.

There have been numerous reports of trades the Lakers tried to make or players they’ll try to add. It seems they’re trying to satisfy a disgruntled fan base by leaking these grand plans. But at a certain point, they have to actually add talent rather than just talk about it.

Video: Matt Barnes Yells Vulgarities At James Harden’s Mother After She Tells Him “You Suck”

Apparently, after that brief incident, a woman shouted out “you suck” from the stands at Barnes, and he responded by saying “suck my d*ck, b*tch.”

Woah.

That’s a pretty brutal thing to say to any woman in range of other ears, but if it was in fact aimed at the mother of James Harden, this year’s MVP runner-up and beloved Houston Rocket, things could get pretty dicey in this series from here on out. Not to mention, the 4th game of this series is on Mother’s Day. Luckily for Barnes, it will be played in Los Angeles.

Fight Fans Sue Manny Pacquiao Over Shoulder Injury Non Disclosure

The suit was filed Tuesday in federal court in Las Vegas on behalf of two plaintiffs, identified as Staphane Vanel and Kami Rahbaran.

The suit comes as Nevada boxing regulators are looking into possible disciplinary action against Pacquiao for failing to disclose the injury suffered in training for the fight. Pacquiao, who would go on to lose a unanimous decision, is expected to undergo surgery this week for a rotator cuff tear.

Mayweather May Possibily Give Pacman A Rematch

Despite Pacquiao being expected to miss anywhere between four and 12 months due to shoulder surgery, per Lance Pugmire of the Los Angeles Times and Dan Rafael of ESPN.com, Mayweather reportedly texted ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith on Tuesday stating he would be willing to fight Pac-Man again when he’s healthy, perSportsCenter on Twitter.

Given the definitive nature of Mayweather’s win in the first fight, some fans might be asking why a rematch is necessary at all. Mayweather landed more punches and had Pacquiao chasing shadows as he danced around the ring.

However, Pacquiao planted the tiniest seed of doubt regarding his performance after revealing that the shoulder injury limited him in the ring.
