BET Is Reviving Punk’d

Here’s another revival for the slate: BET is bringing back Punk’d, Ashton Kutcher’s brilliant prank show that brought celebrities to their knees. You are correctly remembering that MTV brought Punk’d back briefly in 2012, when it featured rotating guest hosts like Justin Bieber. As of yet, BET hasn’t announced who would be attached to the project, but said that the show would be“tailored” to its audience. Kutcher set the bar when he tricked JT into believing the government was seizing all of his property. Go forth and make some tears, BET!

Chris Brown Settled LA Basketball Lawsuit

Chris Brown can finally move on from the basketball brawl lawsuit that arose from an alleged fight at 24-Hour Fitness in LA, last July. The singer and his lawyer, Mark Geragos, managed to settle with the alleged victim for an unbelievably small amount, offering up no more than four figures.
Malcolm Ausbon filed suit against the singer in 2014, with claims that Chris and three of his friends gave Ausbon a beat down in the middle of a basketball game. He then went on to threaten that if Breezy didn’t cough up $250k, he would then be taking his complaints to the cops.

Morris Twins, of the Phoenix Suns, Charged With Assault

The incident took place on the night of Jan. 24 during a weekend basketball tournament, the Westwind Prep Southwest Prep Showcase, at the Nina Mason Pulliam Recreation and Sports Complex near 15th Avenue and Colter Street in central Phoenix.
A Phoenix police report indicated that the Morris twins and three other men assaulted Erik Hood, 36, a man they denied knowing. Hood told police that he had known them since they were ninth-graders in Philadelphia and mentored them while they played at the University of Kansas. Hood told police that he and the twins had a “falling out” in 2010. He said, in 2010, one of the Jan. 24 suspects saw Hood’s text message to the Morris’ mother that he would always be there for her and took it out of context, telling the twins that Hood wanted Angel Morris to be his girlfriend.
