The Golden State Warriors can breathe a sigh of relief.
Although Draymond Green was assessed a flagrant-1 foul after kicking Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams in the groin midway through the second quarter of Sunday night’s 133-105 blowout loss, the NBA decided on Monday that it won’t suspend Golden State’s linchpin for his actions.
Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical first broke the news, and USA Today’s Sam Amick confirmed the report, adding the league will fine Green and upgrade the offense to a flagrant-2 foul.
