While marble is frequently one of the most sought-after materials, no longer is it limited to use on home furnishings. New York-based design company ELEMNT has taken advantage of its rarity for a new set of Macbook covers. Made from authentic Carrara marble slab sourced directly from Milan, Italy, the covers have been reduced to 0.8mm thickness and are backed with fiberglass in order to keep their rigidity.
Handcrafted in New York and easily removable, the covers are available now from the ELEMNT website.
