Following its launch in 2013, adidas’ Boost technology has been hailed as the best running-shoe innovation since Nike Air. If there’s been any significant criticism, it would have to revolve around the coloring. To date, Boost has appeared on Three-Stripe silhouettes in just one shade: white. That finally changes with this new NMD Runner, which is clad almost entirely in black. Bits of contrast white appear on the collar and heel, as well as Japanese print on the EVA stability plug (the text translates into “three stripes brand”). Check out detailed looks in the gallery below, and stay tuned for word on a release date.
