Kyrie 2’s First Color Way Is Crimson

Joining teammate LeBron James who recently launched the Nike LeBron 13, Cleveland Cavaliers all-star guard Kyrie Irving is also getting a brand new signature sneaker from Nike Basketball. The success of Irving’s Nike Kyrie 1 has prompted the Swoosh to not waste any time introducing its successor.

With the shoe isn’t set to debut until December, a few photos of the “Bright Crimson” iteration of the Nike Kyrie 2 have already leaked. The forthcoming release, which most notably introduces a mid-foot strap to the Kyrie line for more support, is composed of bright crimson base, with a black tongue and heel. Atomic Orange details also appear on the shoe via the Swoosh and Kyrie logos.

The first colorway of the Nike Kyrie 2 is set to release on December 15, followed by a Christmas colorway on December 24. Four additional iterations of the Kyrie 2 are slated to drop in the first quarter of next year, beginning with the “Bright Crimson” iteration on January 1, 2016. The sneaker will retail for $125.
