We’re trying to read the tea leaves to determine whether the Nike Mag is indeed releasing on October 21, a significant date in Back to the Future lore (in the first sequel, it’s the day Doc and Marty travel to in order to stave off the disastrous fate awaiting Marty’s future family). Back in September, we encountered a tweet from a former art director at Wieden+Kennedy, Nike’s longtime advertising agency, seeming to portend the Nike Mag’s release. And now we have the image of the interior of a hat, posted byMajor DC. The interior band is embroidered with the October 21 date, and the exterior of the hat (presumably from Nike) appears to have the same color scheme as the Nike Mag. Is this the companion piece to the shoe in question? Stay tuned.
