“Let’s be friends”
This morning, if you haven’t heard, Drake released another scathing diss record aimed atMeek Mill, “Back to Back,” in which he continued to make fun of the Philadelphia rapper, seemingly disappointed that Meek hasn’t responded yet.
In the diss, Drake also continued to promote Power 105.1 personalities, in response toFunk Flex taking Meek’s side in the original riff. On “Charged Up,” Drizzy said he “needsDJ Clue to drop a bomb on it”–the bomb of course being Funk Flex’s storied ad-lib of choice–and on this new song, Drake extended an olive branch to Power 105.1′s Charlamagne Tha God, the rumored reason Drake has never appeared on The Breakfast Club.
“You gon’ make me send some bottles to Charlamagne.”
Today, Charlamagne uploaded a video to his Instagram showing off 6 bottles of Dom Perignon champagne (roughly $200 a bottle), with a hand-written message, allegedly from the 6 God himself with “let’s be friends” scrawled in ink.
Your move Meek. Well, it’s been your move since Saturday.
