Broner talked with TMZ after his disappointment with a Roc Nation sports deal offer of $40 Million for 5 years. To be honest, I do not know what Broner makes a year in boxing but I think the most he ever made for a fight was $1.5 Million against Paulie “The Magic Man” Malignaggi. $8 Million for 2 fights a year sounds good to me. He’d making $4M a fight. If he is worried about attaining stardom during the years of the contract then negotiate that but do not ruin, what seems to be, a good deal. I’m not going to pretend I know any more about boxing purses then what I read on boxing websites, so maybe it was a good decision to turn down the deal, but off the naked eye it ain’t seem like a bad one.
