Floyd “Money” Mayweather certainly knows hows to make dough but he’s not exactly frugal. At least he’s willing to shell out big bucks for quality nutrition (when he’s not posting about his million-dollar sports bets), and that’s what he sees in the culinary works of “Chef Q,” who Mayweather will apparently be paying $1,000 per meal to cook for him ahead of his May 2 showdown with Manny Pacquiao.
Judah obviously isn’t the same fighter that he once was back in the early 2000s, but he’s still plenty fast of hand, and he’s got the southpaw stance that Mayweather needs to take a look at to get ready for the Filipino star.
Manny Pacquiao has come out of musical retirement to record a song which he will use during his walkout against Floyd Mayweather when the pair finally meet this summer, according to the Philippines’ GMA News.
According to Darren Rovell of ESPN, the early word is that the lower level face price will be around $3,500. While that is an astronomical price, it pales in comparison to the $100 million purse that the two fighters will be competing for.
CBS and Showtime announced Tuesday they have agreed to a multi-year venture to broadcast live boxing. According to the release from Showtime, via Boxing247.com, there will be up to eight live events across the networks in 2015, with the most prominent featuring the undefeated Floyd Mayweather on May 2 on pay-per-view.
