After teaming up Japan-side on a collection of versatile fleece goods, here Stussy and Champion again come together for the “Stussixer” collection this season. Here we find the two brands making a nod to the golden, cornrowed age of Philadelphia basketball through a limited capsule. Comprised of a mesh tank top and matching short, the pieces are offered in your choice of white or black and accented with a red trim. At the check and left leg respectively, the pieces are also touched with a retro “International Stussy” graphic print. The collaborative “Stussixer” drop is set to hit the likes of Stussy’s Japanese chapters, the Stussy Japanweb store and ZOZOTOWN this Friday, May 15 with the jersey and shorts retailing for ¥13,000 JPY (approximately $108 USD) and ¥14,000 JPY (approximately $117 USD), respectively.
In celebration of its 35th anniversary, Stussy has teamed up with SOPHNET. for a capsule collection that employs wardrobe basics marked with Stussy’s signature branding. There are simple cotton logo tees and pullover hoodies, both finished in a rudimentary color palette of white, grey, black and navy. They’re joined by a Soutien Collar Coat, offered in navy, beige and black options, as well as a pair of black double-branded slides. The collection launches May 22nd at SOPH. stores and Stussy chapters in Japan.
Stussy is set to hold the first of its 35th Anniversary Trunk Shows in Los Angeles. The brand will be presenting an installation of iconic Stussy imagery alongside a selection of vintage garments and an exclusive Los Angeles photo T-shirt and tote bag by London based photographer Tyrone Lebon to celebrate three and a half decades of the iconic brand. The event will take place this Thursday April 16 at Stussy’s La Brea location in Los Angeles.
The new 4-piece collaboration between Stussy and Champion gives the traditional hockey warmup jacket and hockey jersey an overhaul. The new designs combine a pop of color with a black-and-white aesthetic. The lightweight jackets and the mesh knitted jerseys each come in both a bold red and solid blue colorway. All four items in the collection are branded with Stussy and Champion logos.
