Great news! Dr. Dre is working on a new album. Even more exciting, the album is inspired by the N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton, which means its inspired by the work he did on the immortal album of the same name.

But wait, there’s gotta be a catch, right? After all, Dre’s been sitting on the rabidly-anticipated Detox for an eternity. Well, you’re right. There is a catch. A big one: He might not release this album.

“I’m working on something right now. I don’t want to put it out there just yet and say that I’m definitely gonna put it out,” Dre told Rolling Stone. “But I’m really feeling what I’m working on right now. This would be a record that’s inspired by the movie.”
