Frank Ocean announces new album named . . .

Frank Ocean‘s planning something big for July: a new album and magazine.
The R&B crooner’s been largely quiet in the time following the release of hischannel ORANGE album in 2012, and anticipation has been building for something new. And on Monday (April 6), Ocean posted something to his Tumblr that got people talking.
Along with an image of himself looking down at two stacks of magazines calledBoys Don’t Cry, he wrote, “I got two versions. I got twoooo versions.”
He also included the hashtags #ISSUE1 #ALBUM3 #JULY2015 #BOYSDONTCRY on the post that showed up on his website’s front page.

Nicki Minaj Makes Billboard History On R&B/Hip-Hop Charts

Nicki Minaj becomes the first female artist to chart four songs simultaneously in the top 10 of Billboard‘s Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop airplay chart (dated March 28), as “Feeling Myself,” featuring Beyonce, rises 11-10. Two males had previously achieved the record: Lil Wayne (first in 2008) and Drake (2011), each of whom has quadrupled up in the top 10 in multiple weeks.

Drake rules 42 percent of the 50-position Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart (dated March 7), as the hip-hop star has 21 concurrent songs on the tally — breaking his own record for the most simultaneously charting hits in the history of the chart. (The new chart will be refreshed on Billboard‘s websites on Thursday, Feb. 26.)
