A Westchester County, N.Y., woman jumped to her death Sunday morning from the George Washington Bridge, authorities said.
Witnesses saw her jump at about 7 a.m. from the north walkway near the New York tower, Joe Pentangelo, a spokesman for the Port Authority, said.
A New York City harbor unit recovered her body at 7:30 a.m. and brought it to the 125th Street Pier in Manhattan. The 44-year-old’s car was recovered at Fort Lee Historic Park.
