Nicki Minaj To Star In “Barbershop 3”

Common recently snagged a role on the forthcoming Barbershop 3, and now Nicki Minaj will be co-starring in the third Barbershop as well, as Draya the sassy hairdresser. If you’re doubting her capabilities, Nicki does have big screen experience.

Nicki Minaj played Cameron Diaz’s assistant in The Other Woman and she was the voice over for the sassy mammoth in Ice Age: Continental Drift. So there’s no doubt that Nicki will do well in the film.

We were already anxious for Barbershop 3, but now we can’t wait.

Jay Z Relaunches Tidal Streaming With Many Artists Partnering With Him Including Beyonce, Kanye West, Madonna, Daft Punk and Nicki Minaj

Today, Jay Z threw a launch event in New York City to celebrate the re-launch of Tidal, the streaming service he recently purchased. Win and Regine from Arcade Fire, Kanye, Beyoncé, Daft Punk, Jack White, Nicki Minaj, Madonna, Rihanna, Usher, Alicia Keys, J. Cole, and many more artists were all on hand for the launch. It was announced that they are all co-owners of the service. After a speech from Alicia Keys, they all signed a declaration.

Nicki Minaj Makes Billboard History On R&B/Hip-Hop Charts

Nicki Minaj becomes the first female artist to chart four songs simultaneously in the top 10 of Billboard‘s Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop airplay chart (dated March 28), as “Feeling Myself,” featuring Beyonce, rises 11-10. Two males had previously achieved the record: Lil Wayne (first in 2008) and Drake (2011), each of whom has quadrupled up in the top 10 in multiple weeks.
