The EYBL (Elite Youth Basketball League) edition of the Nike Kevin Durant signature shoe has become a yearly tradition—but not for those of us that can’t hoop in the festivities. Now for the first time ever, the EYBL KD will be releasing at retail, for all of the off-court warriors hoping to acquire a pair. This year opting for a less colorful—yet still eye-catching—colorway, the KD 7 Elite “EYBL” features a metallic copper upper paired with white accents and an icy clear outsole. The colorway is nice, but the best news for KD sneaker fans is obviously the fact that you’ll have a chance to own a pair. Expect them at select Nike Basketball retailers like Heist tomorrow, May 8th.
Today, Nike Basketball officially unveils the fourth annual Elite Basketball Collection, the pinnacle of the performance and technology crossover for the sport of basketball. Included is the LeBron 12 Elite, Kobe 10 Elite, and KD 7 Elite, with the trio releasing in three separate waves as we approach the Playoffs season. The Team Collection (April 18th), Elevate Collection (May 15th), and Rose Gold Collection (June 5th) will release throughout the Summer 2015 season, so check below for a full release details and stay tuned for an in-depth look at each model shortly.
It’s just a frustrating time for Durant. Hopefully he can get back to basketball soon to take away the extra time he has to notice these distractions.
