Well, well, well, what do we have here? Looks like Kanye West has enlisted Kendrick Lamar for the official remix of his blazing single, “All Day.” Details are slim to non-existent at this point, but we do know Kanye was INSPIRED BY KENDRICK after he heard To Pimp A Butterfly, and – most importantly – we’ve got a super brief snippet for you to chew on while you wait for the full version to drop.
Throughout his career Kanye has shown his admiration and love for his mom in many ways. He named his creative agency after her; closed his 2008 album 808s and Heartbreaks with a deeply profound statement addressed to her (“Goodbye my friend, I will never love again” Kanye said on “Coldest Winter”); described his recent single “Only One,” as his mother singing to daughter North West through him; and, of course, “Hey Mama.”
Now, video of Kanye and his mom rapping together in a kitchen has surfaced, and it’s sure to leave you in tears. Taken from an MTV special detailing the making of Late Registration, the clip features the two talking about a rap Kanye came up with, followed by the two singing “Hey Mama” together. It’s simultaneously beautiful and sad: another glimpse into a relationship that still means so much to Kanye.
Kanye can finally put the civil lawsuit filed against him by paparazzo photographer, Daniel Ramos. Nearly two years ago, Kanye was sued after “assaulting” Ramos outside of LAX. According to TMZ, one of the stipulations of the settlement was an apology. No word on how much Ramos settled for.
