Watch Waka Flocka Read “50 Shades Of Grey”

After 100 million copies sold worldwide and an undying global fascination since its 2011 release, Fifty Shades Of Grey, the movie, hit theaters this past weekend. The box office numbers, as expected, were phenomenal, leading the erotic tale to nab the biggest February opening in history, succeeding Mel Gibson’s Passion of the Christ. The erotic drama brought in $85 million in just one weekend, beating out the $81.7 million estimate.

Believe it or not, the love story has even made its way into hip-hop. The popularity of the novel along with a cameo from Roc Nation signee, Rita Ora in the film and a Beyonce heavy soundtrack has lately but surely led the hip-hop community to jump on the bandwagon.

J. Cole Announces “Forest Hills” Tour

After releasing his 2014 Forest Hill Drive album last fall, J. Cole is planning to hit the road in 2015. The North Carolina rapper will be joined by Bas, Cozz and Omen as support acts from Dreamville, stopping off in the likes of Nashville, New Orleans, San Antonio, Eugene and many other cities, with more still to be announced. “The real is back” according to Jermaine, and fans should be expecting something special from the live shows.
