We’re still 254 long days away from the release of The Force Awakens but we’re happy to bring you something that will hopefully keep your thirst quenched until December. Walt Disney Studios, along with Lucasfilm and 20th Century Fox has announced that the entire Star Wars saga will be made digitally available for the first time on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, Xbox Video, PlayStation Store, Verizon Fios and VUDU. “We’re thrilled that fans will be able to enjoy the Star Wars saga on their digital devices wherever they go,” said Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy. “These films broke new ground in technology, design, sound, and visual effects, and we’ve created some very special bonus material which delves into the saga’s rich history.” All six films, from The Phantom Menace all the way to Return of the Jedi will release in Digital HD starting this Friday, April 10.
