Custom Sneaker Designer Maggi Redesigns Yeezy Boost 750 In Tan

Having already done his take on the Nike Air Yeezy 2, custom sneaker designer Maggi re-designs the adidas Yeezy Boost 750 with this unique “Tan” Custom version. Dressed in the same “Tan” colorway as the Yeezy 2s, this iteration is re-constructed with premium leather and features hot pink inner detailing. Some of the sneaker’s original components were left untouched, such as the gray canvas strap and white midsole. Do you like these better than the original Yeezy Boosts?

The Brooklyn Museum To Host An Exhibit For Sneakerheads

The Brooklyn Museum is set to host an exhibit for sneakerheads entitled “The Rise Of Sneaker Culture”. This exhibit will run from July 10- October 4, 2015, and will be held in the Morris A. and Meyer Schapiro Wing on the 5th floor. This exhibit includes 150 different pairs of sneakers from brands such as Adidas, Nike, Converse, Puma, and Reebok. This exhibit will explore the social history and cultural significance of sneakers by providing film footage, interactive media, and photographic images. Viewers of the exhibit will also see sneaker design drawings, technical innovations, and the marketing campaigns that helped shape the sneaker culture over the years. After surprising customers at the adidas Performance store in SoHo during the February 14th release, Kanye West showed up at the adidas Originals store in London to not only hand-deliver the Yeezy Boost shoes, but to autograph pairs for the eager buyers.
