Eddie Murphy became a comedy legend during his early Eighties run on Saturday Night Live. But he hasn’t graced the show’s iconic stage since hosting an episode on December 15th, 1984 – months after leaving the series during Season Nine – with bad blood souring the relationship over the years. Now Murphy is making his long-awaited return for the series’ three-hour 40th anniversary . . .
Netflix appeared to be back online after an outage that lasted for over an hour on Tuesday night, but not before distraught users took to the Internet to offload their grievances.
The video streaming giant, which has 33 million subscribers in over 40 countries, said the outage started at 3:40 p.m. Pacific time and affected users in North and South America and parts of Europe.
Four weeks into its inaugural season, Fox’s music industry drama Empire has continued to rise in the ratings. Whether you’re among those praising the show or merely hate-watching to share Twitter slander (more on the hate-watching phenomenon, here), Empire has already been renewed for a second season, so it’s not going away anytime soon. In fact, the show is only looking to increase its star power with the likes of T.I. and Ashton Kutcher in talks to join the cast in Season 2. One other player who co-creator Lee Daniels is attempting to add to the cast is Diddy‘s 23-year-old son, Quincy. Diddy however, isn’t completely on board with the casting.

CBS has officially given Rush Hour a pilot order, along with orders for comedies Joe Time and Greg Garcia’s Super Clyde, which was initially ordered to pilot back in 2013.
