John Ridley Developing A Marvel TV Series

Looks like Marvel has yet another TV seriesin the works, but this time it involves a big-name collaborator: John Ridley, who won an Oscar for his 12 Years a Slave screenplay.Entertainment Weekly reports that Ridley is working on a mysterious new project with Marvel for ABC. Marvel already has a growing roster of superhero shows on ABC, with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter, and a reported new S.H.I.E.L.D. spinoff. For now, details on the secret project are vague, with EW only confirming that it’ll involve an “existing Marvel superhero character or property.” We’re still holding out hope for that Black Widow spinoff!

Chicago’s Mayor Rahm Asks Spike Lee Not To Name His Film “Chiraq”

On Wednesday, Emanuel met with Lee at City Hall to discuss the filmmaker’s plans to film in the Windy City. “We had an honest, frank conversation,” Emanuel said during a press conference. “He said that while the movie is about the neighborhood of Englewood, I was clear that I was not happy about the title.” He added, “I told him also that there are very good people that live in Englewood who are raising their family and there’s a lot of positive things that are happening in Englewood mainly driven by the people that make up Englewood.”

“Orange Is The New Black” Is Renewed For A Fourth Season

“Season four is now the new news,” Aduba told George Stephanopoulos. The cast reports back to work in June. Aduba also previewed a new clip featuring her character, plus Samira Wiley as Poussey, Danielle Brooks as Taystee, Adrienne C. Moore as Black Cindy. In the scene, the characters discuss the fate of Vee (Lorraine Toussaint). According to Poussey, Vee is dead. But Crazy Eyes maintains Vee is alive and well.
