Mark Cuban Thinks He Could Take KD One-On-One
Kevin Durant is the reigning MVP and scoring champ but his All-Star selection this year was a bit controversial since he’s only appeared in 24 of his team’s 51 games to this point in the season. The ever competitive Durant stood by his selection and when asked whether or not another player should have been chosen he said, “Whoever want my spot can play me one-on-one for it.” At the time it was taken as a challenge to Damian Lillard who wrote a lengthy Instagram caption about being snubbed. As you know Lillard never responded to that and was later chosen to replace the injured Blake Griffin. Someone else however took Durant up on his offer, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.

After unveiling images of his latest sneaker collaboration via his longtime friend Ibn Jasper’s Instagram, Mr. West was spotted in his adidas Yeezy Boosts all Grammy weekend. Rocking the grey and white kicks to rehearsals with Rihanna and Paul McCartney, Jay Z Roc Nation brunch and the even to the big stage, Yeezy was a walking advertisement for his new partnership with adidas.

We saw a camera phone recorded preview of this back in December, but here is the official red band trailer for the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton as it aired during last night’s Grammys broadcast. Ice Cube and Dr. Dre provide an introduction which also features cameos from Kendrick Lamar and Game. The film will be in theaters August 14th.

To give you a taste of phone-generated virtual reality, Best Buy has partnered with Samsung for a series of ”Samsung Experience Shops” to bring sample units of the Gear VR headset into its retail stores for shoppers to experience. Beginning today, the Gear VR will be available for try-ons in 100 Best Buy stores in the U.S. where staff will give a quick tour and demo of the gadget. However, potential buyers will still have to go to the Best Buy website to buy the device. Developed to be used with Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 phablet, the Gear VR uses technology from the Oculus Rift to create an accessible virtual reality experience. If you live near a Best Buy, make sure to drop by, but meanwhile, the headset can be bought here for $200 USD.
