Apple Streaming to Undergo Massive Overhaul

There’s discord in Cupertino revolving around Apple’s year-old music streaming service, which has received mixed reviews at best. According to Bloomberg, significant changes are expected to be announced at the company’s Worldwide Developers Conference in June, featuring a revamped user interface that should be more functionally intuitive. 9to5Mac adds that the service will switch to a predominantly black-and-white interface, losing the bright colors while adding song lyrics. Additional changes include improved integration between the streaming and download businesses and an expansion of Apple Music’s online radio service. Users can also expect the replacement of the “New” tab with “Browse,” featuring enhanced organization within the tab.
