The early and mid 90’s were phenomenal years to be collecting sneakers particularly in the basketball category. Michael Jordan may have been the most dominant player on the court during those years and had the most sought after sneakers, but Nike laced up plenty other players with notable sneakers like Scottie Pippen in the Air More Uptempo.
Creating the Air More Uptempo that resonated so well in the sneaker community when it released set up endless Retro possibilities for the silhouette though it may not have been exactly planned by Nike. Coming into the new year sneakerheads have plenty to look forward to with the plethora of Retros expected to return to retailers. One in particular that stands out is the Nike Air More Uptempo in blk/white set to drop sometime next year. A new colorway can now be added to the list as it was just revealed that the classic Air More Uptempo will release next year in white & red.
No confirmed release date has been given for this silhouette, but for now you can check out these early images of the silhouette above. Are you looking forward to the release?
