Dan Rafael of ESPN.com reported on the potential for the fight to air on CBS over pay-per-view, but Rafael’s source added that no decisions had been made either way. Talk of a potential CBS fight was mentioned in a July 14 report from Michael Woods of the Sweet Science, who said Mayweather and Berto’s bout would be televised on the network.

No matter where the bout is televised, a deal between Mayweather and Berto is not yet a done deal. On July 20, Lance Pugmire of the Los Angeles Times passed along comments from an “official charged with finalizing” the fight that a bout between Mayweather and Berto had not yet been set.
