Marvel and Amazon Strike A Deal To Give Kindle Users Access to 12,000 Comics

If your Spider-Sense is going off today, it’s probably because a lot more of the Marvel Comics library is now at your fingertips.

Marvel Comics has inked a new deal with comiXology, ushering in a major development that will have comic book fans thoroughly geeked. While comiXology will remain the exclusive distributor of digital copies of Marvel comics, the company will now offer Amazon Kindle users over 12,000 back issues of comic books that can be purchased straight from Amazon’s store.

comiXology, which was acquired by Amazon in 2014, will continue to distribute digital editions of Marvel comics via the Marvel Comics app on Fire tablets, iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.
