Brooklyn Man Beats Gun Charge Due To Dirty Police Work

 

More dirty police practices are being unveiled by the New York Times. A 53 year old man was arrested on gun charges because an “informant” gave the officers information stating he possessed a gun. The trial then discovered there was no informant and the gun was planted on the suspect. The court also discovered there was a pattern in these officers’ arrests where “informants”, who never showed their faces at trials, always provided them information regarding suspects with concealed weapons. Were there ever really “informants”?
